CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—Police seized on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at least three kilos of marijuana worth P360,000 from two suspects during a buy-bust operation in the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director, identified the suspects as Ian Joaquin Angelo Formeran and Ma. Therese Revilla.
Cajipe said the two motorcycle-riding suspects engaged the policemen in a brief chase and shootout at a subdivision in Barangay Kaybanban around 8 p.m.
In other anti-narcotics operations Wednesday in the province, the police arrested 18 other drug suspects and seized 35 plastic sachets containing “shabu” (crystal meth).
