Taguig hits highest single-day vaccination record

The fourth national COVID-19 vaccination drive is tentatively set on March 10 to 12, a health official said Wednesday.

MANILA, Philippines — Taguig City registered its highest single-day COVID-19 vaccination record on Saturday at 18,395 jabs, breaching the 400,000 mark of total individuals inoculated in the city.

According to the city’s daily COVID-19 vaccination tally on Aug. 7, a total of 416,156 of the eligible population have received their first dose while 664,519 jabs were administered across Taguig City’s vaccination hubs.

The city has a total population of 1 million people.
