MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) doesn’t see the need to investigate why the Chinese fishermen rescued in Palawan on Thursday were in the country’s waters.
“There’s probably no more need for [a probe]. It appears that they were caught in a bad weather,” said Com. Armand Balilo, spokesperson for the PCG. “It seems that it was a force majeure incident,” he added.
