DAGUPAN CITY—Two siblings, who went swimming in Agno River in Aguilar town, Pangasinan province, drowned Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Ruby Riparip, 8, a Grade 2 pupil, and her brother Randy, a Grade 1 student of Barangay San Jose, were invited by their friends to swim in the river, their mother said.

Her neighbor later informed her that her children had drowned.
