LEGAZPI CITY—Police arrested a man they consider a high-value drug suspect in a buy-bust operation Tuesday in Daet, Camarines Norte.
Col. Julius Guadamor, Camarines Norte police chief, said Christopher Vargas, 37, was arrested around 8:30 a.m. in Barangay V.
Guadamor said Vargas was a member of the “Rey Gutierrez Drug Group” and was on the illegal drugs watch list in the province.
The police recovered 10 sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P5,000.
