LUCENA CITY—A motorcyclist died, and another was injured after their vehicles collided Sunday in Calaca town in Batangas province.
Calaca police reported Monday that Ruel Rodriguez, 41, was traveling aboard a motorcycle when he collided with an oncoming motorcycle driven by Rommel Manalo, 26, in Barangay Dacalao at 9:40 p.m.
Both motorcyclists suffered injuries and were brought to the hospital, but Rodriguez died on the way.
The police report did not say if the two motorcycle drivers were wearing helmets.
