BACOLOD CITY—Negros Occidental received Tuesday an additional 6,400 doses of Sinovac vaccines.

Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said the vaccines would be used Thursday and Friday for simultaneous mass vaccination drives in all 31 towns and cities of the province.

The aim, he said, was to inoculate 13,000 Negrense in two to three days.

“If there are local governments that fail to use up their allocations, the vaccines will be diverted to areas that need them,” Diaz said.

“Every time new supply of vaccines come, simultaneous province-wide vaccination drive will be scheduled so we can use them immediately,” he added.
