The National Task Force Against COVID-19 will no longer recall the vaccines already delivered to the provinces, but may have to concentrate on key regions in the next round of vaccine deployment. Galvez said excess vaccines might be reallocated to health and local government employees in the same regions. The country received 1.1 million doses of CoronaVac, donated by Chinese manufacturer Sinovac, and AstraZeneca through the global procurement pool COVAX.
