MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has suspended anew oral arguments on the controversial antiterror law until March 16 for the continuation of cleaning and disinfection of its offices due to rising COVID-19 cases.
“Court sessions shall proceed via videoconferencing but the oral arguments scheduled on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 … [are] suspended,” Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta said in a two-page memorandum.
The court did not give a new date for the hearing. Originally, the suspension was from March 11 to 14.
