MANILA, Philippines — Motorists were warned of a traffic buildup along Elliptical Road in Quezon City, following a shooting incident near a mall located on Commonwealth Avenue early Wednesday evening.
According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the slow movement of vehicles was monitored on Elliptical Road as of 6:57 p.m.
It said a “shooting incident involving PNP” happened around 6:08 p.m., shutting down Commonwealth Avenue’s eastbound lane.
As of this posting, authorities were still not responsive to the media when pressed for further details regarding the shooting incident.
