Localized lockdown imposed on 22 more Pasay villages
MANILA, Philippines — Twenty-two more villages in Pasay City were placed under a 14-day enhanced community quarantine, days after it locked down 33 villages and a transient home due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.
The city government previously announced 33 villages and a transient house were placed under a 14-day strict lockdown starting Feb. 19 due to a consistent record of a surge in active cases.

The city health office imposed strict lockdown after recording three or more active cases of COVID-19.
In a statement, City’s Public Information Office said the following villages are under “Localized Enhanced Community Quarantine:”

To date, the city has 7,650 confirmed cases with 196 deaths, 7,059 recoveries, and 395 active cases.
