Three parishes under the Diocese of Cubao were chosen as venues for the upcoming massive inoculation program in Quezon City, that will add to the 24 vaccination sites initially identified by the local government. The diocese identified the parish hall and garden of Pentecost Parish in Loyola Heights, Santa Maria Della Strada Parish in Diliman and Cathedral of Cubao as venues. These venues met the conditions set by the city’s health department, according to Cubao Vicar General Steve Zabala. “Based on our meeting with the health [department], the parishes should have a good Wi-Fi connection and good ventilation to be qualified as inoculation sites,” Zabala said. The Quezon City government has initially identified 24 sites located in its six districts that would serve as venues for its inoculation program. —Nikka G. Valenzuela
