DFA: 34 more Pinoys abroad get the virus

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Tuesday reported a spike in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad as 34 more had tested positive for the virus, raising the total to 13,056. Currently, there are 3,633 patients still undergoing treatment, it added. The DFA also reported that 27 more Filipinos had recovered from the illness, bringing to 8,488 the total number of recoveries. The death toll remained at 935 as there was no new COVID-19 fatality reported among Filipinos overseas. —Tina G. Santos
