3 alleged drug pushers fall in Quezon busts

The group Bayan Muna decried that one of its organizers was arrested, while the Philippine National Police reported one officer was hurt due to tension at a Bonifacio Day protest along Recto Avenue in Manila.

Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police director, reported that anti-illegal drug operatives collared Ramil Comia, 51, after he sold a pack of shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent in a drug deal in Barangay  Anastacia around 12:30 a.m. Friday.

The suspect yielded 15 plastic sachets of meth weighing 15.60 grams worth P105,808.

Police also busted Bobby Casulla, 28, in the coastal village of Dalahican in this city around 7 p.m. Thursday.

Authorities seized three sachets of shabu.

Earlier, the police also arrested Ednalyn Villegas, 22, in Barangay Domoit around 3:45 p.m. She was carrying six sachets of shabu.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
