LIST: Class suspensions on Nov. 11, 2020 due to Ulysses

Some parts of the country will still experience cloudy skies and some rain shower on Saturday due to the prevailing northeast monsoon and easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday.

MANILA, Philippines — Some local government units canceled classes on Wednesday, Nov. 11 due to the expected effects of the Severe Tropical Storm Ulysses which is expected to hit Quezon province and Polilio Islands.

As of this posting, the following local governments ordered class suspension:

Meanwhile, the management of University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City ordered the suspension of online classes.

The university, likewise, directed its faculty members to postpone deadlines due to possible power and telecommunication service interruption during the onslaught of the severe tropical storm.

Weathermen earlier raised Signal No. 2 over some parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, Camarines Norte, and Bulacan.
