38 squads to see action in CYBL ThreeSixty Cup

THE CEBU YOUTH Basketball League, a league that aims to hone talent development at the grassroots level, is partnering with ThreeSixty Pharmacy for the ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup 2012, which kicks off today at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu old campus along Mango Avenue.

A total of 38 squads will join this year, eclipsing last year’s total which was at 35.

Back to defend their respective age group titles are the University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR) in the 16-Under division, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) in the 13-Under division, and the University of San Carlos (USC) North Campus in the 10-Under division.

“We are happy to partner with the CYBL. It’s a young league growing so quickly, the same situation that we in ThreeSixty Pharmacy find ourselves in. And we’re glad to be supporting the growth of youth basketball in Cebu,” ThreeSixty Pharmacy Business Operations Head Len Ramos said.

Playing today in the 16-under division A are the Cebu Eastern College and the SHS-AdC 2 while division B will see the CVIRAA selection taking on Medellin.

The 13-under class A will have the SHS-AdC A facing off against the University of San Jose-Recoletos while division B will have SHS-AdC B facing off versus CEC. The games in the 10-under division will see CEC taking on USJ-R while the University of San Carlos North battles USC South.  Correspondent Jonas Panerio
