Cavite declares state of calamity due to Typhoon Rolly

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla has clarified that their family is not involved in any Philippine Offshore Gaming Operation (POGO), noting that they no longer own an island resort which was converted into a gaming center.

MANILA, Philippines — The province of Cavite has been placed under state of calamity due to Typhoon Rolly.

Governor Jonvic Remulla announced this Sunday on his Twitter account: “Cavite is now under STATE OF CALAMITY due to #RollyPH #Goni.”

Cavite remains under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 4 as Rolly made its third landfall in San Narciso, Quezon at noon.
