MANILA, Philippines — Lawmakers on Monday elected new officials of the House of Representatives, particularly the House Secretary-General and Sergeant-at-Arms.
Voting viva voce, lawmakers elected Jocella Bighani Sipin as the new House Secretary-General, replacing Jose Luis Montales.
Congressmen likewise elected Police Maj. Gen. Mao Aplasca as the new Sergeant-at-Arms.
