The Light Rail Transit 2 (LRT 2) temporarily suspended operations due to a fire at the Santolan station in Quezon City on Thursday morning.
The Light Rail Transit Authority said the fire started from a burnt uninterruptible power supply around 5:10 a.m. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
In Oct. 3 last year, a fire from two rectifier-transformers also shut down the Santolan to Anonas stretch of the rail line. —MARIEJO S. RAMOS
