Marijuana bricks worth P2M found abandoned in Mountain Province

Fully grown marijuana plants worth P21.5 million were burned in three separate farms in Kalinga province, the PNP reported Wednesday.

BAGUIO CITY –– Authorities on Sunday found a box containing 17 marijuana bricks worth around P2 million in Bontoc, Mountain Province.

Bontoc police and agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) acted on a tip that led to the discovery of the abandoned marijuana bricks in Sitio Sukit, Barangay Samoki around 1 p.m.

No suspect was arrested in the operation, police said.

The bricks were brought to the PDEA Mountain Province office for proper disposition.
