1-Pacman Rep. Pineda tests positive for COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines —1-Pacman party list Rep. Eric Pineda on Saturday revealed that he contracted the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“My dear colleagues I would like to inform everyone that I tested positive for COVID-19 today. For those that I may have had contact the last five days, please take the necessary precautions.  God bless,” Pineda said in a text message to reporters.

Last week, Cavite 6th District Rep. Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV also tested positive for the respiratory disease.

To date, the Philippines recorded 234,570 COVID-19 cases. Of this number, there are 161,668 recoveries and 3,790 deaths.
