TUGUEGARAO CITY –– Seven new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were recorded in the Cagayan Valley, raising to 544 the region’s total tally on Tuesday.

Dr. Rio Magpantay, Cagayan Valley regional health director, said four of the new cases were from the City of Ilagan while the other three were from this city.

Meanwhile, the regional office of the Department of Health-Center for Health Development has remained closed for disinfection due to recorded infection there.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources regional office has also suspended face-to-face transactions as a precautionary measure.
