2 suspected drug pushers collared in Albay

Seven suspected drug peddlers were arrested while more than P15.8 million worth of "shabu" and smuggled cigarettes were seized in three separate anti-crime operations in Cebu City and Zamboanga City.

LEGAZPI CITY –– Police arrested two alleged illegal drug pushers in separate drug operations in Albay province Monday night, reports said Tuesday.

Captain Dexter Panganiban, Albay police spokesperson, said several sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) were seized at the drug operations in the cities of Ligao and Legazpi.

Ely Guanzon, 42, a beautician, was caught selling shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Tinago at 9:55 p.m. The suspect yielded four sachets of shabu and P1,000 marked money.

In Legazpi City, police collared Ryan Calisin, 35, resident of Barangay Rawis, while selling shabu during a drug operation around 8:45 p.m. The suspect yielded a sachet of shabu and P6,500 marked money.
