MRT operations suspension moved to October

The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 3’s scheduled weekend suspension of operations for its rail replacement project has been moved from August to September, to October to November on the recommendation of its maintenance provider Sumitomo-MHI-TESP.

The Department of Transportation said the suspended operations would be moved to Oct. 10-11, Oct. 31, Nov. 1-2 and Nov. 14-15.

Sumitomo-MHI-TESP said the new schedule “will not affect the target completion of the rail replacement by the end of September 2020. —Krixia Subingsubing
