MANILA, Philippines — St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City and Bonifacio Global City will no longer accept walk-in patients who wish to undergo COVID-19 testing, especially those who are asymptomatic or do not exhibit any symptoms of the disease.
This will be effective starting Wednesday, July 29, the hospital announced Tuesday.
“This is to ensure that we efficiently manage the flow of patients who need to undergo the test and maintain the safety of our healthcare workers in both hospitals,” it said on a Facebook post.
St. Luke’s urged the patients to book a slot through its product information center.
To date, the Philippines has 82,040 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 1,945 deaths and 26,446 recoveries.
