Pampanga vice mayor contracts COVID-19

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—-City of San Fernando Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). He is the second elected official in Pampanga province to contract the virus.

Lazatin on Saturday announced the result of his swab test as he asked those who had been in contact with him since July 20 to report to the city health office for medical assessment.

He said he did not travel outside the city.

Earlier, Candaba Mayor Rene Maglanque reported having recovered from COVID-19 after testing positive for the virus on July 18.
