MANILA, Philippines — Eight members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) assigned to Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea tested positive for COVID-19, though the official himself remains free of the virus.
The infected security personnel include six enlisted personnel on outside duty. None of the PSG personnel who guard President Rodrigo Duterte were found to be infected.
