Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta on Friday ordered a three-day work suspension at the Supreme Court next week due to the disinfection and sanitation efforts to be undertaken at the high tribunal’s compound in Manila.

In a memorandum, Peralta said “a more thorough disinfection, cleaning and sanitation” of the different buildings and offices of the Supreme Court was needed to minimize the possible spread of the coronavirus.
