Cops nab 2 in Caloocan bust, P1.3M worth of ‘shabu’ seized

Seven suspected drug peddlers were arrested while more than P15.8 million worth of "shabu" and smuggled cigarettes were seized in three separate anti-crime operations in Cebu City and Zamboanga City.

MANILA, Philippines — Caloocan City police arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized P1.36 million worth of suspected “shabu” in a buy-bust operation early Thursday.

Arrested during the operation at Phase 12, Barangay 188, in Tala were 23-year-old Kevin Bryant Sultan and 28-year-old Michael Angelo Villa.

According to a report from the Caloocan City police, the suspects were arrested by undercover police officers who acted as buyers.

After buying the illegal drugs using marked cash, the two undercover officers arrested the suspects.

Seized in the bust were five pieces of medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing the suspected shabu, police said.
