The Department of Agriculture (DA) has assured consumers of adequate fish supply even with the extension of the community lockdown.

Agriculture Secretary William Dar said the peak of fishing activities often happen during the second quarter. Based on data from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, the country would enjoy an 11-day surplus equivalent to 101,792 metric tons of fish by the end of the second quarter. —Karl R.
