Pagasa: Sunny, fine Friday weather nationwide
MANILA, Philippines — A hot, humid Friday is expected due to the easterlies or warm wind from the Pacific Ocean, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
“Makakaranas pa rin tayo ng mainit at maalinsangang panahon. Generally fair weather po ‘yung panahon natin. Maaraw, at bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap ‘yung mga kalangitan,” said Pagasa weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin, in a 4 a.m. weather update.
(We will experience hot and humid weather. The weather will be generally fair. It will be hot, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies.)
Isolated rains may be expected in the afternoon and evening, according to Bulquerin.
Pagasa said here is no low pressure area being monitored in the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Bulquerin added that the wind and coastal water conditions will be light to moderate in all parts of the country.
No gale warning has been raised by the weather bureau.
“Walang nakataas na gale warning kaya’t malayang makakalayag ang mga kababayan nating mangigisda o ‘yung mga may maliit na sasakyang pandagat, pwede po silang pumalaot (Fishermen or those with small fishing vessels can freely go to the waters),” said Bulquerin.
