LEGAZPI CITY — Three more towns in Albay province have suspended classes in all levels in public and private schools to play safe against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In Camalig town, Mayor Carlos Irwin Baldo Jr. said classes and other school-related activities would be suspended starting March 16.

Baldo also ordered the temporary closure of all tourism and cultural heritage sites in the town.

Manito Mayor Joshua Mari Daep also suspended classes starting March 14.

Daep advised residents to stay at home and avoid crowded places.

In Guinobatan, Mayor Ann Gemma Onjoco  suspended classes on Friday (March 13) in all levels.

No date was given for class resumption.
