4 nabbed in Camarines separate drug busts

Seven suspected drug peddlers were arrested while more than P15.8 million worth of "shabu" and smuggled cigarettes were seized in three separate anti-crime operations in Cebu City and Zamboanga City.

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines  – Four suspected drug pushers were arrested by the police in separate anti-drug operations in Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur provinces on Monday night, police said.

In a report, Colonel Marlon Tejada, chief of the Camarines Norte police, said Diolito Geromo, 29; Jayson Zolueta, 27; and Michael Luz, 34, all residents of Paracale town, were arrested in Barangay Sta. Rosa Norte in Jose Panganiban at around 11 p.m.

Recovered from the three were a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth), aluminum foil and a lighter.

In Camarines Sur, Roselle Lampong was arrested in Barangay Talojongon, Tigaon town at around 9:30 p.m., said Colonel Roderico Roy Jr., director of the Camarines Sur police.

Lampong, included in the watch list of illegal drug personalities, also operates in the towns of Sagñay and Ocampo, police said.
