41 patients still in hospitals for coronavirus monitoring
MANILA, Philippines — As four more individuals tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Sunday night, 41 more patients are currently admitted in different hospitals nationwide as of Monday morning on suspicion that they have also contracted the disease.
Information from the case tracker of the DOH showed that this was lower than the 48 patients under investigation (PUIs) admitted in various health facilities as of Sunday morning.
Latest data from the health department showed that a total of 655 PUIs have been discharged from hospitals after testing negative for the viral infection.
Here is the breakdown of PUIs per region:
Metro Manila – 23 admitted, 199 discharged, 9 confirmed cases Central Luzon – 6 admitted, 97 discharged Calabarzon – 1 admitted, 80 discharged Central Visayas – 1 admitted, 61 discharged, 1 confirmed case Western Visayas – 1 admitted, 41 discharged Cagayan Valley – 3 admitted, 37 discharged CAR – 2 admitted, 28 discharged Davao Region – 0 admitted, 24 discharged Northern Mindanao – 1 admitted, 19 discharged Eastern Visayas – 0 admitted, 18 discharged Ilocos Region – 2 admitted, 13 discharged Mimaropa – 0 admitted, 15 discharged Bicol Region – 0 admitted, 15 discharged Soccsksargen – 1 admitted, 4 discharged Caraga – 0 admitted, 3 discharged BARMM – 0 admitted, 1 discharged
