According to the latest data from the Bureau of Internal Revenue, from January to September 2019, the total revenue collection of the National Capital Region totaled P1.3 trillion. Minus the revenue collected from large taxpayer service which amounted to P1.01 trillion, the cities with the biggest contributions were Makati City (P79.7 billion) and Quezon City (P59.04 billion). —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
