The Philippine Navy’s first missile-armed frigate, the BRP Jose Rizal, is set to arrive in April in time for this year’s International Fleet Review (IFR).

Navy flag officer in command Rear Adm. Giovanni Carlo Bacordo said on Thursday that BRP Jose Rizal will lead the Philippine contingent to the IFR on May 21 in the waters of Manila Bay near Corregidor Island and Bataan. —Jeannette I. Andrade
