Three Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) personnel from the Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPIA) have been honored for their honesty after returning a foreign tourist’s bag on Feb. 15.

Reywelyn Macabutas, Aika Carceller and Richard Guillermo returned a black bag containing, among others, cash amounting to more than P100,000, left at the PPIA’s arrival area.

CAAP Area 4 Manager Efren Nagrama said the bag, which was left at the Department of Health desk, was turned over to the CAAP Security and Intelligence Service and returned a few hours later to American-Vietnamese passenger Tien Trung Bui. —Jerome Aning
