PAGADIAN CITY—An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who recently returned from China, now fears for her life as neighbors consider her a threat to their health because of COVID-19.

The OFW arrived in Manila on Jan. 31 and went home in Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur, a day after.

The OFW’s mother, Rosalie, has sought help from the National Bureau of Investigation after social media posts accused her daughter of the disease. Health authorities have already cleared the OFW who remains asymptomatic of the virus. —Leah D. Agonoy
