2 fall in Albay, Camarines Norte drug stings

Seven suspected drug peddlers were arrested while more than P15.8 million worth of "shabu" and smuggled cigarettes were seized in three separate anti-crime operations in Cebu City and Zamboanga City.

LEGAZPI CITY –– Two alleged drug pushers were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Albay and Camarines Norte on Tuesday.

Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said Edwin Mina, 48, was caught selling two sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in Barangay San Roque, Malilipot, Albay around 4:30 p.m.

In Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte, police collared Mia Yaba, 42, of North Poblacion while creating alarm and scandal at 8:20 p.m.

When a search was conducted, police found that the suspect had 14 sachets of suspected shabu.
