BOCAUE, BULACAN — The North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) Corp. has waived toll for motorists bringing aid to victims of the Taal volcano eruption.

Raul Ignacio, chief operating officer of NLEX Corp., said sparing motorists on relief missions from paying toll will allow the smooth flow of donations headed for Batangas and Cavite.

Motorists carrying donations can show documents for their relief operations at NLEx toll  gates or coordinate with NLEx management prior to their travel, Ignacio said.

Personnel of the Highway Patrol Group in Bulacan and Camp Crame have also been deployed to help donors going to Batangas.
