ORMOC CITY –– A motorcycle rider was killed when he was hit by a truck in Barangay 91, Tacloban City on Monday, January 6.
Lt. Col Bella Rentuaya, spokesperson of the Eastern Visayas police, identified the victim as Joshua Jorda, 45.
Rentuaya disclosed that Jorda lost control of his motorcycle before he was hit by a truck driven by Romark Reposo.
Jorda died on the spot and was immediately brought to a local funeral parlor here.
The driver of the dump truck was brought to the police station for proper disposition./lzb
