MANILA, Philippines — The service of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) experienced delays on Thursday morning due to technical glitches. The LRT-1 had to implement a 15-kilometer per hour (kph) speed limit about 9 a.m. as technical issues hounded the southbound portion of the Edsa station.

“Technician is already on board working the fault of affected LRV. Please allow additional travel time of about 8 minutes,” the train line said in a Twitter post.

Replying to a query on Twitter, the management said the Edsa station southbound encountered technical issues that caused the delay.

It was only at 9:11 a.m. that operations have resumed.
