The National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) on Friday announced that they have closed down nearly 200 vaping shops across Metro Manila, two weeks after President Duterte’s verbal directive to crack down on e-cigarettes and vaping. NCRPO acting chief Police Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas said that as of Nov. 27, they have closed down 198 vaping shops that were found to have improper business permits.—KRIXIA SUBINGSUBING
