Marine held for pulling out gun at Palawan town bar

Police anti-narcotics agents in Rodriguez, Rizal arrested three suspected drug traffickers and seized shabu (crystal meth) worth P238,000 in a sting operation early Saturday, Feb. 15.

CITY OF CALAPAN – Police arrested a Marine on Monday, Nov. 11, for drawing his firearm at a bar in the town of Taytay, Palawan province.

Pfc Louie Geonanga, 27, a member of the Marines, was arrested at the village of Poblacion after two complainants, Raymond Delos Santos and Realia Dayap, sought police help.

The two complainants alleged that Geonanga threatened them by pulling out his gun at a bar in Poblacion, according to Lt. Col. Socrates Faltado, Mimaropa police information officer.
