ECHAGUE, Isabela –– A 21-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a passenger van along the provincial road here on Monday afternoon.
Police Col. Mariano Rodriguez, Isabela police director, identified the fatality as Froilan Pascual, a resident of Pangal Norte village.
Investigators said both vehicles were traversing the road in Pangal Norte village at high speed before figuring in the collision.
Pascual died while being taken to a hospital, police said.
Van driver Jesus Agustin, 61, immediately surrendered to authorities and will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide. Villamor Visaya Jr. /lzb
