CITY OF ILAGAN –– Two persons died and another was seriously injured after a wayward truck rammed a tricycle along the national road here at dawn on Friday, police said.
Renelito Tacac and Celso Ferrer, both farmers from Cauayan City, were taken to a hospital but succumbed to head injuries due to the impact of the collision in Barangay Malalam, police said.
Injured was Larry Limon, a resident of this city.
Investigators said truck driver Jaybee Boy Gambol, 25, was negotiating a curve when it collided head-on with the tricycle, which occupied the opposite lane. Villamor Visaya Jr./lzb
