LUCENA CITY — A suspected drug pusher long wanted by the authorities was shot and killed by an unidentified gunman in Candelaria town in Quezon province on Sunday.
Candelaria police reported that Christopher Banayo was killed while playing billiard in Barangay (village) San Isidro around 10 a.m.
Police said the gunman armed with caliber .45 gun suddenly appeared and without any provocation repeatedly shot the suspect, hitting him in different parts of the body. The victim died while being taken to the hospital.
Police said Banayo, a drug surrenderer, was again included in the drug watch list. /kga
