MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Sunday announced the lifting of its number coding scheme, or the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP), on Monday, Aug. 26, in commemoration of National Heroes Day.

In a separate advisory, Makati City also suspended its number coding on the same day.

The MMDA, however, has yet to clarify if the number coding suspension also applies to Las Piñas City.

INQUIRER.net has reached out to the city’s traffic division but has yet to receive a response.
