2 treasure-hunting suspects arrested

A Korean national wanted for various crimes was captured by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Taguig City last week, the bureau said on Friday.

CITY OF CALAPAN—Three alleged treasure hunters were arrested by police in the town of Gasan, Marinduque province on Sunday (Aug. 11).

Lt. Col. Socrates Faltado, Mimaropa regional police information officer, said Frankie Ical, 29, a farmer, and Godofredo Perigren, 49, both of Sta. Cruz town, Marinduque, were arrested after a tip about diggings in the village of Bahi.
