According to the 2018 annual accomplishment report of the Metro Parkway Clearing Group, it collected 31,305 cubic meters of garbage and sand in 2018. A unit of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the group is tasked to clean and maintain the streets, sidewalks, center islands, footbridges and flyovers in Manila through mechanical sweepers, metro aides, laborers and oyster sweepers.
